From dazzling nighttime drone shows to beloved character meet-and-greets, here’s a sneak peek at what’s in store for summer 2024!

Disney Dreams That Soar at Disney Springs

Prepare to be mesmerized as drones take flight above Lake Buena Vista in “Disney Dreams That Soar.” This captivating nighttime spectacle combines state-of-the-art drone technology with beloved Disney stories, creating stunning designs in the night sky accompanied by a soaring musical score. From May 24 to Sept. 2, visitors to Disney Springs can marvel at this enchanting display of light and sound, adding an extra touch of magic to their summer evenings.

Joy Joins Pixar Plaza at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Fans of Pixar’s “Inside Out” can rejoice as Joy herself makes her debut at Pixar Plaza in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Starting June 10, guests can meet Joy and other beloved Pixar characters in their new home, just in time for the premiere of “Inside Out 2” in theaters. While at Pixar Plaza, be sure to snap some selfies at the cute new photo spot and indulge in Pixar-themed snacks and merchandise at Beverly Sunset Boutique.

¡Celebración Encanto! at EPCOT

Experience the magic of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Encanto” with a new summer sing-along show at EPCOT. From June 10 to Sept. 6, join Mirabel and Bruno for a limited-time celebration featuring beloved songs and stories from the hit film. The show will take place several times daily on the newly opened CommuniCore Plaza stage, offering guests the chance to sing along to their favorite tunes and immerse themselves in the colorful world of “Encanto.”

CommuniCore Plaza Transformation at EPCOT

Step into a fully transformed EPCOT starting June 10, as the last walls in the center of the park come down to reveal a brand-new experience. CommuniCore Plaza will be the focal point of the park’s evolution, offering guests a cool indoor space to recharge and relax. With beautiful views, exciting character greetings, and lush greenery in the World Celebration Gardens, CommuniCore Plaza is set to be a highlight of EPCOT’s summer transformation.

The Lion King Celebration at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Join in the festivities as Disney’s Animal Kingdom celebrates the 30th anniversary of “The Lion King” from June 10 to Sept. 6. Experience the magic of this beloved film throughout the park, with special merchandise, menu items, and character meet-and-greets. Don’t miss your chance to meet Timon and Rafiki at Rafiki’s Planet Watch and try your hand at drawing characters from “The Lion King” at Animation Experience.

In addition to these amazing summer treats, you can experience after-hours events at Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and H20 Glow at Typhoon Lagoon! These events give you nighttime access to these parks, with entertainment, snacks, and more! Check them out to add an extra magical night to your visit.
