In an interesting update for mobile orders at Walt Disney World, the My Disney Experience app has rolled out a new feature called Mobile Order Photo Galleries. This new feature will allow park guests to browse a gallery of photos of interior dining rooms to featured menu items at Disney’s various dining establishments.
What Is Mobile Order Photo Galleries?
The Mobile Order Photo Galleries is a brand-new feature on the My Disney Experience app that allows users to view photos of the interior of dining locations as well as menu items before placing a mobile order. Previously, guests could only read text-based descriptions of the food items. With this update, they can now also view high-quality images, providing a clearer idea of what they are ordering and what seating arrangements are offered.
How To Use Mobile Order Photo Galleries
Using the Mobile Order Photo Galleries feature is straightforward. When you’re ready to order food or drinks from a participating quick-service restaurant, simply:
Select the "+” icon
Open the My Disney Experience app, then select the “+” icon and find the mobile checkout option.
Select "Order Food"
Select the “order food” option from the pop-up menu.
Tap Photo Beside Any Dining Location With Blue Ring
Tap on any photo next to a dining location that features a blue ring around it.
Browse Photo Gallery
Browse through the available photos using the left and right arrows. When done viewing the gallery, tap the arrow in the top-left to return to the previous screen.
Remember, this feature is only available at select quick-service restaurants throughout Walt Disney World Resort. So, be sure to check if your preferred dining location offers this service.
