Disney just sent out a community update that announced Magic Kingdom will be testing fireworks between 11:00 PM and 2:00 AM tonight, March 9, 2023. It is expected that these firework tests are preparation for the return of the highly popular “Happily Ever After” nighttime spectacular, which is set to return to Magic Kingdom on April 3rd, 2023.
What To Expect
Guests staying at Disney resorts hotels or Deluxe resorts nearby can expect to hear and see these tests during the night. While some may find the noise to be at an odd time of the night, you may just be getting a sneak peek at what we can expect when Happily Ever After makes its triumphant return.
Happily Ever After Fireworks Show
The Happily Ever After fireworks show at the Magic Kingdom is one of Disney’s most spectacular nighttime performances. The show features state-of-the-art projection technology, captivating music, and a stunning display of more than 18,000 colorful pyrotechnics. Guests can enjoy the show from anywhere on the park grounds, as the special effects can be seen both inside and out. The stunning finale features an uplifting message that celebrates stories of friendship and courage in order to remind us all that our dreams are possible when we believe in ourselves.
