Unique Queue Lines At Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney World is known for its details, and when guests spend a portion of their day in attraction queues, it only makes sense for these lines to be themed and unique. The Disney details are what keeps guests coming back year after year. The Imagineers have thought out every single detail when it comes to the attractions at the park, and many guests consider the beginning of the attraction to be the very moment you step into the queue line. Disney’s Hollywood Studios is a park where your favorite movies come to life. Here are just a few of our favorite unique queue lines at Hollywood Studios.

Rise of the Resistance

This attraction is unique in the sense that you can’t really tell when the queue ends and the attraction begins. The queue for Rise of the Resistance is part of the attraction itself. Guests are immediately treated as prisoners of the First Order as soon as they enter the queue. The theming is felt from the beginning and continues throughout. Guests are guided through transport carriers as the story begins while they are still in line for the attraction. Perhaps the most famous part of the attraction, the Stormtrooper room, is within the queue itself and not during the ride.

Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run

This attraction also features a very unique queue because of its setting. During Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run, guests have the privilege of boarding the famous Millennium Falcon ship. This experience doesn’t begin during the ride, but rather once guests enter the line. Guests wait in the hallways of the Millennium Falcon and the ambiance of the ship is felt immediately. Without the unique queue line, this attraction just wouldn’t be the same.

Tower of Terror

Theming is taken to a new level with Tower of Terror. This terrifying attraction builds dread from the moment you step into the line. The queue for Tower of Terror begins outdoors and twists through the abandoned gardens of the Hollywood Tower Hotel. Soon, guests enter the building and see the horror of the abandoned lobby. Guests begin to wonder what awful thing could have happened here to make the guests leave so suddenly. The suspense builds as guests make their way through the boiler room, and then finally they board the attraction itself.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets

This attraction recently got a makeover and is now starring The Muppets! Guests can enjoy this unique queue with a Muppets pre-show. Here, guests can see the new and incredible Scooter Muppet animatronic that looks as if its being controlled by a human. This fun, Muppet pre-show is how guests learn about the attraction they are about to board, and they are introduced to the storyline of the ride through the queue itself.
