LA Rams Celebrate Super Bowl Win At Disneyland

LA Rams Celebrate Super Bowl Victory At Disneyland

A 35-year tradition continued this year, as the LA Rams celebrated their victorious Super Bowl LVI win against the Cincinnati Bengals at the Disneyland Resort on February 14, 2022. Fans lined the streets of Mainstreet U.S.A to honor three teammates who had a crucial role in last Sunday’s win.

Players, Parades And Superheroes

MVP, Cooper Kupp, Quarterback, Matthew Stafford and Aaron Donald came together after spending the day at the Anaheim theme park to ride atop of the cavalcade down Mainstreet U.S.A. Cheerleaders and Disney characters led the cavalcade, which was followed by a float decorated with the LA Rams logo as well as football themed balloons in the team’s colors. Mickey Mouse joined the football players atop the float and were seen waiving at the fans who had gathered to watch the grand celebration.

The football players enjoyed their day at Disneyland by riding attractions throughout the theme park and were even spotted taking photos with superheroes. Guests at the Disneyland Resort on February 14 may have seen Cooper Kupp at the Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park, snapping pictures with Spider-Man, Iron Man, Black Panther and a member of the Dora Milaje.

This was the first year that the classic Disney commercial spot featured 3 players and their families. The well known commercial asked the players the iconic question, “What are you going to do next?,” to which they shouted, “We are all going to Disneyland!” The commercial also featured children from the Make-A-Wish Foundation who had made a wish to attend the game and cheer on the LA Rams.

Make-A-Wish Foundation And NFL Partnership

The NFL and Make-A-Wish foundation have celebrated 40 years of partnership and have granted over 300 wishes for kids who are facing critical illnesses. This year, the foundation sent 15 Wish families to Super Bowl LVI to be treated to a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

The families were welcomed as VIP guests at the NFL Honors event, attended a private tour of the SoFi Stadium, had some time to enjoy the Super Bowl experience in Downtown Disney. And most importantly, they were able to attend the Super Bowl in person! Lastly, the Wish kids, along with the 3 players and their families, were featured in the classic Disney Super Bowl commercial.

ESPN Events At Disneyland

Football fans were also able to enjoy the ESPN Fan Experience at Downtown Disney during the week leading up to the Super Bowl. There, sports fans and Disneyland fans alike enjoyed free games, activities, giveaways and possibly got the chance to interact with ESPN personalities and Hall of Famers. Fans and guests were also able to attend live television broadcasts during their time at Disney California Adventure Park.

Although the Disney Super Bowl celebrations had been cancelled for the past two years due to the coronavirus pandemic, it appears that this year’s Super Bowl celebrations at Disneyland went off without a hitch!
