Disney Vacation Club (DVC) has been running a trial program known as the Member Experience Specialist Team for approximately 1 year now. This initiative provides select DVC members with personalized assistance for their vacation planning needs, about 90 days before their scheduled arrival.
What Can The Member Experience Specialist Team Do?
The assistance provided spans various areas such as:
- Making dining reservations
- Searching for recreational activities
- Organizing special events
- Setting up the My Disney Experience app
- Managing Disney Magic Mobile Digital Wallet Pass for membership benefits
- Purchasing park tickets and making park reservations
- Handling resort reservation requests
- Answering general inquiries
How It Works
Members are first contacted by email and can then begin expressing their specific needs either by either email or phone call. Once the DVC members wishes are understood, the team goes to work booking the needed services and reservations on their behalf.
Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs)
A particularly valuable service offered by this team is assistance with dining reservations, thus eliminating the need for members to book through the Walt Disney World app or website.
The team assures members that if they are unable to secure a preferred dining reservation immediately when the booking window opens, they will continue searching on behalf of the member. The team has the capacity to reserve Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs) for the member. However, to finalize the transaction, a phone call is necessary to associate a credit card with each dining reservation.
Lesser-Known Disney Services, Too!
In addition to this, the Member Experience Specialist Team can also book behind-the-scenes tours, poolside cabanas, and provide information about lesser-known Disney services such as family photo sessions and resort activities.
How To Join The Program
This program is available by invitation only and is currently free of charge. It is primarily targeted at guests staying in larger or more expensive Disney Vacation Club accommodations, including three-bedroom Grand Villas, Cascade Cabins at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins, and the Bungalows at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
