Beloved Disney characters can be found throughout the Disney parks. Guests who have favorite characters will love experiencing their attractions, shopping for their merchandise, and meeting them in the parks. Characters can be found everywhere, and Disney pets are no exception. Iconic Disney pets like Pluto have appearances throughout the parks. If you have an upcoming visit to Disney World then be on the lookout for these iconic Disney pets and where to find them.
Pluto
Mickey’s best pal Pluto makes several appearances in the Disney parks. Not only can guests see him during Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway attraction in Hollywood Studios, but they also have several opportunities to meet this friendly pup. Pluto meets and greets at Garden Grill Restaurant in EPCOT, near EPCOT’s main entrance, at Pete’s Silly Sideshow in Magic Kingdom, at Chef Mickey’s character buffet, and at Animation Courtyard in Hollywood Studios.
Figaro
This next iconic Disney pet belongs to both Minnie Mouse and Pinocchio. While you can’t meet this sweet tuxedo cat, you can still spot him in the parks. Figaro can be found on the outside and inside of Pinocchio Village Haus restaurant in Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom. You can spot Figaro outside the restaurant in an elevated flower bed, and a painting of him is on the walls within the dining area inside.
Dug
This lovable, talking Golden Retriever can be found at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Guests can meet both Dug and Russell at the Wilderness Explorers Club House on Discovery Island. Russell can be found at a traditional meet and greet in the area, while Dug is a roaming character that doesn’t operate on a schedule. Dug can even speak with guests as he walks around.
Stitch
Perhaps the most iconic Disney pet of all time, Stitch can be found in the parks and is just as mischievous as ever. Stitch makes appearances in Tomorrowland at the Rocket Tower Plaza Stage. But if guests wish for a more personal meet and greet experience they should visit Ohana restaurant for breakfast. Lilo, Stitch, and other characters walk around Ohana during breakfast hours for a character meal you won’t soon forget.
Nana
This character might play a minor role in their film, however Nana from Peter Pan has attracted quite the following from its small moments on screen. Nana the nanny dog makes an appearance in the Peter Pan’s Flight attraction in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom. Sitting by her doghouse with her cap, guests can spot Nana during the opening scenes of the attraction and wave goodbye to her as they take flight with Peter Pan towards Neverland.
