After more than two years of closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Disney has announced that the Harmony Barber Shop is reopening July 31st!
The Harmony Barber Shop, located on Main Street U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom has been a fan favorite since it opened its doors on opening day along with Magic Kingdom. This old time barber shop offers haircuts to adults and children, even offering a special first haircut package. Disney describes their offerings as followed:
A mainstay of Magic Kingdom Park since opening day, Harmony Barber Shop is opening its doors once again on July 31 for the world’s most magical haircut. Considered by many to be a rite-of-passage, the cherished “My First Haircut” experience is making its return as stylists eagerly await to shower their young friends with magic and extra special pixie dust for the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary celebration to commemorate this special milestone. In fact, guests of all ages are welcome to take a break from the hustle and bustle and let our friendly stylists polish you up for a day at the park.
Reservations will become available in the My Disney Experience app on June 28th. They will be limited so be sure to book as soon as possible. Walk-in appointments will also be allowed based on availability.
Disney also reported that the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will be reopening this year as well in both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort, although no official reopening date has been released at this time.
