Some displays, like the Gingerbread House at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and the one inside Haunted Mansion Holiday at Disneyland park, have been enchanting guests for over two decades. New additions, like the Lighthouse at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, are making their grand entrance this year. These edible works of art, teeming with hidden details and Mickeys, are worth multiple visits.
Disneyland Resort’s Grand Gingerbread Display
Beginning November 10th, Disneyland Resort will showcase its Gingerbread House at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. This impressive replica of the hotel, standing 7 feet tall and 12 feet wide, is built with over 600 pounds each of gingerbread and powdered sugar, 250 pounds of fondant, and a sprinkle of pixie dust. Look closely to spot the 25 hidden Mickeys!

From November 8th through January 1, 2024, you can marvel at the house adorned with white chocolate candy canes, edible snowflakes, sugar poinsettias, and over 10,000 pieces of gingerbread. Watch out for the 85 lb. chocolate Santa and other hand-painted characters. Don’t forget to hunt for the 24 hidden Mickeys!

A Carousel of Sweetness at Disney’s Beach Club Resort
Disney’s Beach Club Resort features a moving Holiday Carousel gingerbread display that has been a tradition for 22 years. This year, the carousel horses are themed after Ducktales characters. The display, filled with 22 hidden Mickeys, is made with 434 pounds of honey, 25 pounds of spices, and 200 pounds of icing.

From November 22nd to December 31st, in the Jambo House lobby, Pastry Chef Lexy Ross and the Animal Kingdom Lodge bakery team have kept the tradition alive with their Life-Size Baby Gingerbread Giraffe and Baby Zebra. This irresistible gingerbread giraffe, named Ginger, and baby zebra, Debra, are crafted from an enchanting blend of gingerbread, sugary dough, and modeling chocolate. Remarkably, the gingerbread giraffe reaches nearly 7 feet in height!

Disney’s Contemporary Resort
Get ready for a spectacular journey to Disney’s Contemporary Resort, where the annual gingerbread display makes its 12th appearance under the direction of Pastry Chef Jeff Barnes. Located on the resort’s fourth floor from November 10th to January 6, 2024, this year’s castle display celebrates the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company. Inspired by Mary Blair and designed by Walt Disney Imagineers, this towering structure stands over 17 feet tall.
It’s crafted with 612 pounds of sugar, 1012 pounds of flour, 112 pounds of gingerbread spice, and more than 4000 gingerbread bricks that form the castle. To top it off, 12 sprinkles of magical pixie dust are scattered for an extra touch of enchantment. Don’t forget to look out for the 12 hidden five-legged goats as you marvel at this sweet masterpiece.

Finally, Walt Disney World Resort presents a display at The American Adventure in EPCOT. From November 24th to December 30th, this distinctive exhibit transforms iconic American and EPCOT landmarks into gingerbread masterpieces.
The display features gingerbread renditions of the Lincoln Memorial, Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, The American Adventure building with the Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue, and even a Festival Marketplace.
