On a recent Friday, a select group of Imagineers donned in ponchos and orange construction vests were the first humans to experience the thrills of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. This event followed earlier tests that utilized water dummies to simulate rider presence. The test ride, captured in a video shared by @DrewDisneyDude on X, showcased the Imagineers descending the ride’s drop amidst cheers from onlookers. The successful completion of the ride prompted one crew member to humorously affirm, “It works!”
Preparations and Precautions
The testing phase of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is crucial, as it ensures that the ride operates smoothly and safely. Although the attraction reuses the vehicles and track layout from its predecessor, Splash Mountain, new thematic elements and timing sequences necessitate thorough testing.
