Exploring Main Street U.S.A. – Magic Kingdom



Magic Kingdom is a theme park that consists of 6 distinct lands, each with their own attractions and experiences. Main Street U.S.A. is the first area of the park you encounter when you enter Magic Kingdom. This is where you get your first look at Cinderella Castle, hear iconic park music, and become introduced to the spirit of Magic Kingdom. Some guests tend to quickly stroll through Main Street U.S.A. in order to venture deeper into the park, but this area of Magic Kingdom deserves plenty of time and attention.

Modeled after small-town America in the 20th century, the details of Main Street U.S.A. work together to transform guests into another world. Attractions

Main Street Vehicles- Occasionally, guests will have the opportunity to ride in one of Main Street U.S.A.’s many vehicles. Horse-drawn trolleys, the omnibus, a jitney, and fire-engine are vehicles that can take guests for a spin up and down the street.

Walt Disney World Railroad– Magic Kingdom is home to a fully-operational steam engine train that travels throughout Magic Kingdom. This railroad has three stops, one of which is right at the entrance of the park on Main Street. Guests can use the train as a method of transportation within the park, or just take a leisurely ride for fun.

Harmony Barber Shop– Many guests don’t realize that Magic Kingdom has its very own barber shop. Harmony Barber Shop offers a variety of hair cutting and styling services, including beard trims. For children getting their very first haircut, Harmony Barber Shop offers a very special first haircut package complete with a keepsake lock of hair and commemorative Mickey ears.

Dining

Casey’s Corner– This quick-service restaurant serves American ballpark favorites like corn dog nuggets and chili-cheese footlong hot dogs. Guests love this restaurant for its delicious food and close proximity to the Castle Hub Grass for picnicking.

Crystal Palace– Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger, and Piglet are excited to interact with guests at Crystal Palace. This sit-down restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Guests enjoy a buffet of carved prime rib, mac n’ cheese, salmon, pasta, and more as they interact with Pooh and his friends during their meal.

Main Street Bakery– This fully-operational Starbucks cafe not only serves your favorite coffee beverages but also unique bakery items that you can’t find anywhere else.

Plaza Ice Cream Parlor– Guests love this old-fashioned ice cream parlor serving hand-scooped ice cream and the famous Mickey Sink Sundae.

Plaza Restaurant- This sit-down restaurant features a stunning dining room that matches the 20th century theming of Main Street, and serves a variety of sandwiches, salads, and milkshakes for dessert.

Tony’s Town Square- Fans of Lady and the Tramp will love this restaurant inspired by the film. Tony’s Town Square serves Italian-American cuisine including a variety of pastas, and of course garlic bread.

Characters and Entertainment

Town Square Theater- Guests can meet Mickey Mouse and Tinkerbell at Town Square Theater.

Festival of Fantasy Parade- This parade featuring all of your favorite characters makes its way down Main Street U.S.A., and currently runs at 12pm and 3pm.

Casey’s Corner Pianist- A real ragtime piano player can be found tickling the ivories outside of Casey’s Corner, every day periodically throughout the day.

Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire- This stage show is performed in front of Cinderella Castle throughout the morning and afternoon and features several beloved Disney characters.
