When you think of Disney World you might be thinking of its 4 main theme parks: Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom. But many guests don’t realize that Disney World is also home to 2 incredible waterparks. Blizzard Beach is one of Disney World’s waterparks that is unlike any waterpark you’ve been to before. Blizzard Beach is expertly themed to look like a frozen ski resort in central Florida. This waterpark features splash zones, slides, and fun for guests of all ages. If you are planning a Disney World vacation then be sure to consider spending a day at Blizzard Beach. Join us as we explore this unique waterpark and all it has to offer.

Attractions

Chairlift- A fun and convenient way to access attractions like Summit Plummet, Slush Gusher, and Teamboat Springs. The Chairlift is a Ski lift-style attraction for guests 32 inches or taller. Guests can either use the chairlift attraction or simply take the stairs.

Cross Country Creek- A 3,000 foot-long lazy river attraction for guests of all heights.

Downhill Double Dipper- Guests 48 inches or taller can race along two identical slides that plunge 50 feet and reach rapid speeds. This slide uses inner-tubes.

Melt-Away Bay- A heated wave pool, perfect for families and guests of all ages and abilities.

Runoff Rapids- 3 high-speed inner-tube slides, each offering a unique experience.

Ski Patrol Training Camp- Young guests of any height will love this water obstacle course featuring ice floats, a zipline, and small slides.

Slush Gusher- Guests 48 inches or taller can access this high-speed slide, 90 feet in length, featuring two hills.

Snow Stormers- Take a toboggan-style mat down twisting and twirling slides; for guests of any height.

Summit Plummet- Blizzard Beach’s biggest waterslide, Summit Plummet is for guests 48 inches or taller who love high-speed slides. The drop is nearly vertical; this attraction is not for the faint of heart!

Teamboat Springs-This family water ride can seat up to 6 guests as you travel 1,200 feet down a twisting slide.

Tike’s Peak- Only for children shorter than 48 inches, Tike’s Peak is a Frozen-themed play area with wading pools, squirters, and small slides.

Toboggan Racers- Guests of any height can grab a Toboggan mat and race to the finish with this 8-lane waterslide attraction.

Dining

Arctic Expeditions- A snack bar serving beer, churros, and roasted nuts.

Avalunch- A quick-service restaurant serving specialty hot dogs, beer, and soft drinks.

Cooling Hut- A snack stand serving popcorn and frozen treats like Mickey Ice Cream bars.

Frostbite Freddy’s Frozen Freshments- A bar featuring frozen cocktails, margaritas, and other adult beverages.

I.C. Expeditions- A snack bar selling a variety of frozen desserts like ice cream in waffle cones and ice cream bars.

Lottawatta Lodge- A quick-service dining location serving flatbread, burgers, salad, and more.

Mini Donuts by Joffrey’s Coffee at Blizzard Beach- A variety of mini donuts of differing flavors as well as coffee, hot chocolate, and lemonade.

Polar Pub- A beach bar serving alcoholic beverages.

Warming Hut- A quick-service restaurant serving wings, nachos, and desserts.

Other Areas

Guests of Disney’s Blizzard Beach Resort can reserve Polar Patios for the day for an additional fee. These patios can accommodate up to 10 guests. Guests can also reserve umbrellas and beach chairs for a fee.
