Enjoying Quiet Moments At EPCOT

Spaceship Earth - EPCOT

The Disney parks can be busy and especially so during school breaks and holidays. Vacationing to Disney World can mean a lot of stimulation with crowds, exciting attractions, and live entertainment. When your day is full of activity and busyness it can be hard to find quiet moments for relaxation and peace. Even though there is so much to do during your day at the parks it is still important to find time for quiet and rest. If you have an upcoming vacation to Disney World then continue reading for how we like to enjoy quiet moments at EPCOT.

The Seas with Nemo and Friends: Sea Base

Located in the World Nature section of the park, The Seas with Nemo and Friends is an attraction that takes guests through the world of Nemo, Marlin, Dory, and all of their ocean friends. Upon exiting the ride guests enter Sea Base: EPCOT’s massive saltwater aquarium. This area of the park is excellent for slowing down and enjoying the nature around you. It’s best to visit first thing in the morning or as soon as the park opens so you can enjoy the quiet stillness of the aquatic life that resides here. Sea Base is home to rescued manatees, dolphins, rays, turtles, and so much more.

Bijutsu-Kan Gallery

Located in the Japan pavilion at World Showcase, the Bijutsu-Kan Gallery is my favorite place to take a break from the busyness of the park. This gallery is located near the rear of the Japan pavilion and is currently hosting a gallery about Japan’s “kawaii” culture. Not only can you look at the gallery and enjoy what they have displayed but you can also take a break in the air-condition and enjoy a moment of quiet with your family.

Living With The Land

This attraction within The Land pavilion is a great way to relax and enjoy a quiet moment with your family. Living with the Land is a boat ride through a working greenhouse and an educational attraction about how we work with the land to grow what we need. This slow-moving attraction is low-stimulation, relaxing, and a favorite of many repeat guests. Living with the Land is the perfect attraction for taking a much needed break during your busy day.

American Heritage Gallery

Located in the American Adventure Pavilion of World Showcase, the American Heritage Gallery is currently showcasing Native American art and educating about native communities. This gallery is a great place to tuck into during a hot and crowded day as it is typically not busy. It’s also a great air-conditioning break and a great way to learn about culture and introduce your children to the Native American culture and art. Guests can enjoy a quiet moment here while they view beautiful artwork.
