Attraction Overview

Brush off those acting skills because Enchanted Tales with Belle at Magic Kingdom has re-opened. And for those of you who love Beauty and the Beast, this is your chance to act alongside Belle herself. The magic begins when you step foot into Belle and Maurice’s cottage and are transported into the film with all the intricate details of their home. As you continue your way around, you come up to Maurice’s workshop, where you run into the enchanted mirror hanging on the wall.  The mirror was gifted to Maurice by Beast so he could visit Belle at the castle anytime he wanted.  By saying the words, “take me back to the day Belle and Beast fell in love,” the mirror dramatically opens, making a pathway into Beast’s castle.

First stop in the castle is the dressing room, where you meet Madam Wardrobe, who comes to life and tells the guests of her grand plan to surprise Belle.  She wants Belle to relive the night when she and Beast fell in love by acting out a story. But she can’t do it alone; she needs some help.  Wardrobe, with the help of Disney’s cast members, chooses enthusiastic volunteers, to act out key parts of the story. Roles include the suits of armor, Maurice, Felip (Marice’s horse), Mrs. Pots, Chip, Madam Wardrobe herself and of course, Beast. Guests are given handheld props and are directed in how to play their specific roles. Every guest who wants to partake in this fairytale will be able to participate but if acting is not your strong suit, you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the show.  Once rehearsals are completed, the cast and guests are called into the library by Lumiere, the talking candlestick, who directs and narrates the play.

As the lights dim, Lumiere calls Belle in, where she is surprised by all her friends and guests. The cast then takes their places, and the show begins. Whether you are living your dream of acting in a fairytale or just watching it come to life, this interactive show will make you giggle, provide lots of entertainment and can even make you a bit teary-eyed.

Once the play is over, Belle is available for photo opportunities with those who participated in the show. A special bookmark is also given to commemorate the grand occasion.
