Easter at Disney’s Aluani 2024

Stella Lou

Picture spending Easter in a beautiful 21-acre paradise, listening to waves crashing while the sun is on your back and your toes are in the sand. Doesn’t that sound like a dream? If yes, Aulani, A Disney Resort and Spa, is your perfect vacation destination. Read on to learn about what you and your family can experience when you spend Easter at the Disney-inspired tropical paradise.

On Easter Sunday, the Hālāwai Lawn will become a field of hidden eggs from 9:30 am to 11:00 am. Seeing the Hālāwai Lawn filled with eggs is quite a sight to behold. When the hunt begins, children are encouraged to collect as many eggs as they can carry. After the hunt, the eggs can be turned in for fun prizes. Sounds fun, right? How many eggs can your little ones carry?

Aulani also has many other activities for guests to enjoy. While they are not Easter themed, they are unique to both Hawaii and Aulani, so it is only fitting to include them below. Not everything guests can do is included here, but my favorite things are listed below.

Activity One: Enjoy the Beach

At Aulani, guests can enjoy a stunningly beautiful lagoon and expansive seascapes. There are activities like swimming and boogie-boarding and renting snorkels, paddle boards, or other equipment to enjoy an ocean experience. Guests can also relax, absorbing the sun and enjoying soft ocean breezes. Doesn’t that sound wonderful?

Paddleboarding costs $45.00 an hour, and snorkeling equipment rentals are $25.00 per day. The option is also to rent a Casabella for $80.00 a day. Reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis for use between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. And, if you are in the mood for food while on the beach, look no further than Little ‘Opihi’s. Little ‘Opihi’s serves salads, sandwiches, snacks, and soft drinks for guests of all ages to enjoy. If you are in the mood for a beachfront cocktail., Little ‘Opihi’s serves those, too. Ultimately, no matter how much time you spend on the beach, one thing is for sure: it will be relaxing. We hope you enjoy it.

Activity Two: Enjoy the Pools

At Aulani, guests can enjoy a lazy river and other delightful adventures at Waikolohe Stream. Waikolohe means “mischievous water” in Hawaiian—and the clever adventure indeed lives up to its name. In my opinion, this is the BEST thing to do on the entire property.

As you drift along the Lazy River, a peaceful current will guide you through the Waikolohe Valley. And, as you drift along, you will see stunning rock formations and natural elements like caverns and fountain springs that deliver a sense of wonderful serenity. Doesn’t this sound so relaxing?

If you feel adventurous after your float along the river, check out the Volcanic Vertical and Tubestone Curl. Volcanic Vertical is A thrilling body slide that descends guests into the serene Waikolohe Pool. Tubestone Curl is an open-air, twisting, and turning tube experience that launches riders into Waikolohe Stream. You will want to take advantage of these memorable experiences.

No matter what you decide to do during your time at Aluani, the stay will be memorable. If you are ready to make your dream of an Easter vacation at Aluani a reality, call the DVC Shop team today. We can’t wait to help make your tropical vacation dreams come true.
