Whether you are a hobbyist or dedicated biker, you don’t have you compromise on your rides during your next Disney vacation. There are several DVC resorts with bike paths for guests who love bringing their bike along with them, and also bike rentals for those who wish to pack lightly. Surrey bikes, or 4-6 wheel quadricycles for families, are also available at select DVC resorts. Whether you are passionate about biking, or just feeling like giving it a try during your downtime at your resort, all guests can visit the following DVC resorts and satisfy their desire to bike.
Disney’s The Cabins at Fort Wilderness Resort
If you are looking for a scenic route for your biking then look no further than The Cabins at Fort Wilderness Resort. This resort features DVC cabins that are the epitome of camping in comfort. There are many outdoor activities available at this resort including fishing, canoe and kayak rentals, campfires, and wagon rides. Bike rentals are available at Bike Barn, and guests can enjoy tree-lined paths within nature with the Wilderness Trails. These mixed-terrain paths connect several campgrounds to one another and also make for a convenient way to get around the resort. Guests are welcome to bring their own bikes rather than rent, but be sure to bring a bike lock with you and store your bike in your cabin at the end of the day.
Disney’s Old Key West Resort
Another DVC resort that allows bikes and offers rentals is Disney’s Old Key West Resort. This is a large resort with plenty of wide pathways for biking. What better way to explore than on wheels? Bike rentals and Surrey Bike rentals are available at Hank’s Rent N’ Return. Guests can see the entire resort on their bike, visit one of the many playgrounds or pools, and see the golf course greens located nearby.
Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa
Both regular bikes and Surrey Bikes are available to rent at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa. Like Old Key West, this resort is quite large. Horsing Around Rentals is where you can find a bike to suit your needs. Guests can bike paths that oversee lakes and golf courses, have quick travel to playgrounds and pools, or just catch some exercise during their vacation.
Disney’s Boardwalk Inn
This exciting resort has several ways to play, and Surrey Bike rentals are a great option for families looking to add a unique experience into their vacation. Disney’s Boardwalk doesn’t rent regular bikes and only rents Surrey Bikes. These bikes seat between 2-4 people who all pedal to assist the driver. Guests can cruise their Surrey Bike throughout the Boardwalk in order to see all of the sights and catch views of Crescent Lake.
