Because inclusion is a core value for the Walt Disney Company, they make efforts to honor Pride and support the LGBTQIA+ community. Part of this includes offering a special collection of Pride merchandise in the parks. While Disney’s first Pride collection was introduced in 2018, this year’s collection has updated branding. 2022’s Pride merchandise has been designed by members and allies of the LGBTQIA+ community specifically for members and allies of the community. Disney has said that the profits from this collection, from now to June 30th, 2022, will be donated to organizations that support LGBTQIA+ youth and families. Here are a few of the items from Disney’s 2022 Pride Collection that you can find in the parks and online!
Mickey Mouse Loungefly Mini Backpack – $75.00
Carry all your park necessities in the Disney Pride Collection Mickey Mouse Loungefly Mini Backpack! This Mickey shaped bag features a rainbow heart front pocket and a fabric lining with a rainbow Mickey design. The classic Disney Parks x Lougefly metal plate is also rainbow. You can find this bag on shopDisney or in the parks!
Stainless Steel Tumbler with Straw – $24.99
This double-walled stainless steel tumbler is rainbow striped and features the word “Pride”. The I in Pride has a special Mickey Mouse touch! With a reusable plastic straw, you can use this tumbler over and over again. Look for the Pride collection tumbler in the parks and on shopDisney.
Marvel Icons Pin Set – $17.99
There are several Marvel merchandise items in the Pride collection including this limited release 6 pin set. Marvel’s mightiest heroes, Black Panther, Spider-Man, Hulk, Ms. Marvel, Captain Marvel, and X-Men, are represented in rainbow colors. This set is presented on decorative card. You can find the Marvel Pride pins in the parks or on shopDisney!
Pixar T-Shirt For Adults – $29.99
A rainbow version of Pixar’s Lamp and Ball logo covers this cotton, adult sized t-shirt. This pattern is contrasted by the shirt’s heathtered gray color. Disney’s embroidered Pride label sits on this shirt’s hem. Head to shopDisney or the parks for Pixar’s Pride shirt!
Star Wars Baseball Cap – $29.99
The force is strong with the Star Wars Pride Collection Baseball Cap for Adults! Rainbow Star Wars logos are printed on the back and the front of this cap. The front logo includes the Rebel Alliance symbol. You can find this hat in the parks and on shopDisney.
