Disneyland Suspends Magic Key Pass Sales + New 3-Day Ticket Deals



Magic Key Program Disneyland Annual Pass

Disneyland has announced that it is suspending sales of its Magic Key annual passes. The $1,399 Dream Keys and the $949 Believe Keys sold out late last year, and as of yesterday the $649 Enchant Keys and $399 Imagine Keys were no longer available for purchase. It was then announced, that all four tiers of Magic Key passes ranging in cost from $399 to $1399 will be suspended and will not be available for purchase for the foreseeable future.

To soften the blow to Disney-bound park guests, Disney announced they will be offering California residents some new three-day ticket deals for Disneyland and California Adventure that are targeted for the coming summer months.

New Ticket Deals for California Residents

Disneyland will be offering a some new three-day ticket deals which will be available for purchase by California residents. You can see the details of the offering below:

The 3-day ticket deal will cost just $83 per person, per day and will allow entry into either Disneyland or California Adventure per day, but will be restricted to admission on Mondays through Thursdays. For $299 (about $100 per day) park guests can be admitted any day of the week including weekends. Park guests can also upgrade their 3-day tickets to Park Hopper tickets for an additional $60.

The limited-time tickets are available for purchase starting May 31, 2022, and California residents may redeem their tickets on any three eligible days from June 13 – September 15, 2022, subject to park reservation availability. Disney has pointed out that the 3 days of admission to not need to be consecutive, as long as all 3 admission dates are within the June 13 – September 15 timeframe.

Monday to Thursday California Resident Ticket Blockout Dates

California Resident Tickets with Monday to Thursday park admission days have the following Friday to Sunday blockout dates: June 17-19, 24-26; July 1-3, 7-10, 15-17, 22-24, 29-31; August 5-7, 12-14, 19-21, 26-28; September 2-4 and 9-11, 2022.

Important Details

  • Offer valid only for California residents within ZIP codes 90000-96199. Each Guest (age 18+) using a California Resident ticket must show proof of eligible residency for purchase and admission. A valid government-issued photo ID showing an address within a valid ZIP code is required for entry into the park.
  • Tickets valid June 13 through September 15, 2022 and are limited in availability.
  • Tickets that are valid only Monday through Thursdays are blocked out every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
  • Each day of use constitutes one full day of use.
  • Eligible residents may purchase up to 5 tickets per day with valid ID.
  • Tickets are nonrefundable, may not be sold or transferred for commercial use and exclude activities and events separately priced.
  • Offer may not be combined with other ticket discounts or promotions.
  • To enter a theme park, Guests (ages 3 and older) need valid admission and a theme park reservation for the same day and same park they want to visit. Park reservations are subject to availability and not guaranteed.
  • Subject to theme park reservation availability, restrictions, change and cancellation without notice. Sales may be paused from time to time or terminated at any time.
