Disney Updates Mask Policy To Allow Maskless Photos

Disney Updates Mask Policy To Allow Maskless Photos

Disney has updated their mask policy to allow for photos! Those who have visited the parks this last year know that masks have been required at all times, unless sitting to eat or drink.

This recently updated mask policy will now allow guests to remove their masks for pictures, as long as they are remaining socially distanced from other groups. These changes are set to take place on April 8.

Face coverings are required for all Guests (ages 2 and up) and Cast Members, including those who have received a COVID-19 vaccine. Please bring your own face coverings and wear them at all times, except when dining or swimming. You may temporarily remove your face covering while actively eating, drinking or taking an outdoor photo*, but you must be stationary and maintain appropriate physical distancing during this time. (*Beginning April 8)

Other mask policy rules, such as the type of masks allowed, will be remaining the same at this time. Disney also states that guests will still need to maintain social distancing protocols.

This updated policy is great news for those who enjoy getting their or their family’s picture taken in the parks. No more masked selfies or family photos in the happiest place on Earth!

How do you feel about the updated mask policy? Are you happy about the chance for maskless pictures in the parks again? Let us know in the comments below.
