It is no surprise that Disney is pulling out all the stops for their upcoming 50th anniversary celebration, and now they have pushed their reach even further. Disney 50th anniversary magic will be coming to Orlando International Airport beginning on October 1!

When guests disembark the plane into Florida they will be greeted with a variety of new Disney touches. Phil Brown, Chief Executive Officer of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority had this to say about what guests have to look forward to.

Coming just in time for the 50th anniversary celebration this fall, airport passengers will discover many exciting Disney touches, including a wide-spanning art installation in the terminal train stations featuring favorite Disney characters, new magic engaging passengers as they walk through a glistening glow of projected EARidescent light patterns, and an immersive photo opportunity with a re-creation of a Disney ride vehicle to capture special memories as they make their way through the airport.

Along with everything else that will be making an appearance at the Orlando International Airport, a new Disney Store will also be opening in the South Terminal Complex in 2022. This is the perfect location for guests to grab their last minute merchandise before heading home.

As always Disney does its celebrations big and this one is bound to be the biggest. What do you think about Disney’s 50th anniversary magic making its way into the Orlando International Airport?
