Walt Disney World Resort is all set to tantalize your taste buds with an array of new food options making their debut at Disney’s Animal Kingdom on October 11. The announcement was made on the Disney Parks Blog earlier this Tuesday.
A Taste of Africa at Harambe Market
Harambe Market, a quick-service restaurant, is launching three new rice bowls – Chicken and Shrimp Rice Bowl, Chicken Rice Bowl, and Shrimp Rice Bowl. These dishes are a delightful blend of jollof rice, kachumbari tomato salad, and tzatziki sauce. You can choose from chermoula-marinated chicken, peri peri-marinated shrimp, or a mix of both as your protein. For the young ones, there’s a kid-friendly version featuring shrimp, white rice, and a Cuties Mandarin Orange.
The Beef and Lamb Kofta Pita is another addition to the menu, which includes house-made beef and lamb kofta topped with tzatziki sauce and chermoula. A plant-based alternative with IMPOSSIBLE kofta will also be on offer. The Harambe Salad with Chicken, a wholesome dish of chermoula-marinated chicken, quinoa, grilled corn, black-eyed peas, and crispy chickpeas topped with a chermoula-herbed vinaigrette, is another new entrant. Don’t miss out on the new Mango Passion Fruit Cheesecake for a refreshing dessert option.
Scrumptious Bites at Drinkwallah, Pongu Pongu, Trek Snacks, and Select Outdoor Vendors
The Stuffed Pancake Sandwich is a must-try at Drinkwallah, Pongu Pongu, Trek Snacks, and select outdoor vendors. This mouth-watering sandwich consists of a sausage patty, guava paste, egg, and cheese wrapped in a pancake. You can also order it without the guava paste.
Satisfy Your Cravings at Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery
Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery is introducing new breakfast and lunch items. The Egg and Bacon Croissant Sandwich with Tomato Pepper Relish is a perfect breakfast option that includes a cheese omelet served with a croissant, bacon, tomato-pepper relish, and potato barrels. For lunch, try out the IMPOSSIBLE Gatsby or the Harissa Chicken Wrap, both served with house-made chips.
Sweet Treats at Pongu Pongu in Pandora — The World of Avatar
Pongu Pongu is ready to serve a new Cinnamon Roll topped with sweet icing, blue sprinkles, and white pearls.
Savory Delights at Flame Tree Barbecue
Flame Tree Barbecue is adding a second plant-based option to its menu – the IMPOSSIBLE Burnt Ends served with french fries and coleslaw. Don’t forget to try the French Fries with Pulled Pork and Cheese.
Italian Flavors at Pizzafari
Pizzafari is launching a plant-based Italian Sausage served with an Italian dressing-topped side salad. An Antipasto Side Salad is also joining the menu as a general side available with any dish.
Refreshing Floats at Tamu Tamu Refreshments
Tamu Tamu Refreshments will be serving two new DOLE Whip floats. The DOLE Whip Orange Soda Float and the Dole Whip Hard Cider Float are sure to quench your thirst and delight your taste buds.
