Walt Disney World Resort is all set to tantalize your taste buds with an array of new food options making their debut at Disney’s Animal Kingdom on October 11. The announcement was made on the Disney Parks Blog earlier this Tuesday.

A Taste of Africa at Harambe Market

Harambe Market, a quick-service restaurant, is launching three new rice bowls – Chicken and Shrimp Rice Bowl, Chicken Rice Bowl, and Shrimp Rice Bowl. These dishes are a delightful blend of jollof rice, kachumbari tomato salad, and tzatziki sauce. You can choose from chermoula-marinated chicken, peri peri-marinated shrimp, or a mix of both as your protein. For the young ones, there’s a kid-friendly version featuring shrimp, white rice, and a Cuties Mandarin Orange.

The Beef and Lamb Kofta Pita is another addition to the menu, which includes house-made beef and lamb kofta topped with tzatziki sauce and chermoula. A plant-based alternative with IMPOSSIBLE kofta will also be on offer. The Harambe Salad with Chicken, a wholesome dish of chermoula-marinated chicken, quinoa, grilled corn, black-eyed peas, and crispy chickpeas topped with a chermoula-herbed vinaigrette, is another new entrant. Don’t miss out on the new Mango Passion Fruit Cheesecake for a refreshing dessert option.
