Walt Disney World has announced a final closing date for MuppetVision 3D. The beloved attraction will make way for a new Monsters Inc.-themed area, marking a significant change in the park’s Grand Avenue section.

MuppetVision 3D’s Final Days

The last day to experience MuppetVision 3D is scheduled for June 7th, 2025. This closure is part of a phased transformation of the Grand Avenue area, which begins in May. Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano will close its doors on May 10th, followed by both MuppetVision 3D and the PizzeRizzo restaurant in early June.

According to Disney, the MuppetVision 3D building will remain in place, with plans for a new theater show tied to the Monsters Inc. theme set to occupy the space once the new land opens.

To make way for the monsters, the Grand Avenue area will begin a phase closing in May, with the last day to dine at Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano on May 10. Following that, Muppet*Vision 3D and PizzeRizzo will close, with the last day to experience both locations on June 7.

As we move forward with these changes, we are having creative conversations and exploring ways to preserve the film and other parts of the experience for fans to enjoy in the future.
