It may be close to winter, but the cold never bothers us anyway, as Blizzard Beach announced it will be reopening on November 13, 2022. In addition, we can expect new experiences with updates to the park featuring some characters from the movie Frozen!
The reopening of Blizzard Beach has been much anticipated, and now there is even more to be excited about! When this water park reopens, there will be frozen fractals all around with Olaf and his Snowgie pals. Above you can see the statues of these beloved friends that will be in the park. Additionally, you will find Anna and Elsa’s igloo castle in this area! You can spot these familiar characters from Frozen in the kid-sized thrills of Tike’s Peak.
That’s not all the fun coming to Blizzard Beach because Santa is coming to visit during the holiday season through December 31, 2022. You will be able to find Santa in his best tropical wear, soaking up that Florida sun. If that’s not enough to get you in the spirit, there will also be snowfall in the waterpark along with holiday treats!
Staying out all day in the sun calls for some treats to cool you down, like the 50th Ice Cream Sand Pail Sundae, an actual ice cream sundae in a sand pail for you to enjoy, and the Earidescent Ice Dream Cone. The adults in the park can look forward to trying the brand-new Orange Slope Dole Whip Swirl at the Warming Hut bar. Some of the quick service locations’ food menus will also change to a Frozen-themed menu!
