Best Quick-Service Restaurants For A Relaxing Meal

There are so many options for dining while at Disney World. Whether you prefer to sit down for a meal at a table-service restaurant, or quickly grab something hot and fresh at a quick-service dining location, there is something for everyone to enjoy with Disney dining. Many Disney restaurants are lively and heavily themed, and many guests enjoy the high-energy atmosphere of these locations. However, some guests prefer their dining experience to be more relaxing, quiet, and calm. If you align more with the latter then consider these quick-service restaurants for a relaxing meal during your next Disney vacation.

Pinocchio Village Haus At Magic Kingdom

If you need somewhere calm and relaxing for a quick lunch or dinner then head on over to Fantasyland for Pinocchio Village Haus. This restaurant is Pinocchio themed and has a charming interior. It serves flatbread pizzas as well as meatball subs and salads. This restaurant can become busy but when you go to the second floor it is generally quieter and less crowded. Pinocchio Village Haus even has a window overlooking the loading area for “its a small world”.

Columbia Harbour House At Magic Kingdom

Another Magic Kingdom quick-service restaurant that is a relaxing space is Columbia Harbour House in Liberty Square. This restaurant serves seafood as well as “land” options, and has a cozy dining room that is themed after an old boathouse. This restaurant also has a second floor that is less busy and more quiet, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing lunch or dinner.

ABC Commissary At Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is home to some lively quick-service dining locations, but if you need something more low-key and calm then head over to Commissary Lane. This is where you’ll find ABC Commissary, a quiet and peaceful restaurant full of palm trees, themed after an ABC Studios cafeteria. This restaurant serves classic dishes with new twists, like the Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese sandwich.

Katsura Grill At EPCOT

EPCOT is home to one of my personal favorite relaxing quick-service dining spots. The Japan pavilion is where you’ll find Katsura Grill. This restaurant is located within a peaceful Japanese garden and serves a variety of Japanese dishes like Udon, Teriyaki, and sushi rolls. Guests can enjoy their meal outdoors in the garden environment, and then take a stroll through the grounds once they’re through with their meal.

Flame Tree Barbecue At Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Disney’s Animal Kingdom is where you’ll find Flame Tree Barbecue, a relaxing restaurant with covered patios and a great view of Expedition Everest. Flame Tree Barbecue serves unique barbecue offerings like Baked Macaroni and Cheese with Pulled Pork, as well as traditional barbecue favorites like ribs, chicken, and pulled pork sandwiches. Guests will feel peaceful and calm as they dine near the water overlooking the Expedition Everest attraction.
