Kilimanjaro Safaris
Animal Kingdom’s biggest and most iconic attraction is Kilimanjaro Safaris. This attraction takes guests on a one-of-a-kind safari experience unlike anything else on this continent. Guests board a safari vehicle that is driven by a guide who identifies and educates guests on every animal they see during this attraction. The animals during Kilimanjaro Safaris are mostly free-roaming, meaning you never know what you might see and how closely you might see them. This attraction is suitable for guests of all ages, but guests should be aware that this can become quite a bumpy ride!
It’s Tough To Be A Bug!
This unique show located in the Tree of Life theater uses 3D effects alongside audio-animatronics to tell the story of bugs. Flik hosts the show which begins as a lighthearted and positive experience until Hopper takes over the stage. This 3D experience can be frightening for young children with moments of darkness, loud sound effects, and some scary bug-related visual effects. This show also uses 4D effects to tell a complete story.
Na’vi River Journey
Guests of all ages can enjoy Pandora with Na’vi River Journey. This attraction is a slow-moving river cruise through bioluminescent jungles, exploring the world of Pandora. This attraction also features a unique audio-animatronic: the Na’vi Shaman. This animatronic is one of the largest and most complex animatronics in the world.
The Festival Of The Lion King
This Broadway-style show takes the best songs from The Lion King film and brings them to life through live performers, animatronics, and other visual effects. Guests can see incredible performances from acrobats as well.
Finding Nemo: The Big Blue…and Beyond!
Using beautiful puppetry and other stage effects, the story of Finding Nemo and Finding Dory is told on stage during this Broadway-style production that can’t be missed.
Conservation Station and Affection Section
Guests can board The Wildlife Express Train over to Conservation Station where they can learn all about the animals that call Animal Kingdom their home. Guests can watch as nutritionists prepare food and vets provide care. Right outside of Conservation Station is Animal Kingdom’s petting zoo: The Affection Section.
