A Guide To Ice Cream At Disney’s Animal Kingdom

For many guests, part of the Disney World vacation experience is trying all of the fun snacks. Disney snacks can be both classic and unique, and guests can have fun snacking their way around the Disney parks. Ice cream is a classic snack that Disney has perfected. Ice cream fans will be delighted to know that there are several places to enjoy ice cream throughout all Disney parks. Animal Kingdom is a park that celebrates wildlife and adventures. Guests can enjoy snacking their way around Animal Kingdom and trying ice cream from the following places.

Anadapur Ice Cream Truck

Located in the Asia section of the park, Anadapur Ice Cream Truck is stylized like an ice cream truck that you might actually find in Asia. Guests can enjoy the specialty Yeti Sundae featuring Chocolate Soft-serve topped with Vanilla Soft-serve, Blue Cake Crumbs, Sugar, Sweet Snowflakes, and a Chocolate Yeti Image. Here, guests can also try the new hand-dipped Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream bar covered in freeze dried Skittles candy. Of course, guests can also choose a classic vanilla, chocolate, or swirl soft serve cone, or an ice cream float.

Tamu Tamu Refreshments

Located in the Africa section of the park, Tamu Tamu Refreshments is a walk-up snack window serving Dole Whip soft serve in various forms. Guests can enjoy a Dole Whip float with either orange soda or pineapple juice, a Dole Whip with rum, or a Sangria Dole Whip. Guests can also try the unique Pineapple Crisp Sundae featuring a pineapple crisp cake, vanilla ice cream, and pineapple caramel.

Trilo-Bites

Just before you enter Dino Land USA you’ll find Trilo-Bites, a food truck-style ice cream stand serving delicious frozen desserts. Here you can find the special Rafiki Wildberry and Dole Whip Orange Float, Dole Whip in the original pineapple flavor, orange, or swirl, as well as traditional soft serve in vanilla and chocolate. Guests can also enjoy Coca-Cola floats, churros, and other tasty food items like the Buffalo Chicken Chips.

Drinkwallah Snacks and Frozen Beverages

Also located in Asia, Drinkwallah Snacks and Frozen Beverages serves a variety of tasty treats for guests to enjoy. Guests can order their frozen beverage in a novelty Lion King cup, and choose from frozen Coca-Cola, Fanta, or lemonade. An assortment of alcoholic beverages are sold here as well including Kona Longboard Island Lager, Tiger Eye Gold Ale, Frozen Rum and Coke, and Frozen Jack and Coke.

Ice Cream Stands

Just like the other Disney parks, there are several ice cream snack stands throughout the park serving ready to eat goodies. These snack stands are where you’ll find the Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar, Frozen Banana dipped in chocolate, Olaf’s Frozen Strawberry Bar, and other yummy frozen desserts.
