I stayed at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort for the first time in July of 2019, and I admit that as a lifelong Disney Park Resort guest, I did not think that Disney’s Vero Beach would live up to my expectations. However, upon check-in, I immediately fell in love. Honestly, this resort is one of the most cozy Disney resorts. Picture a cool sea breeze and the crashing waves. That sounds relaxing, doesn’t it? And Easter is typically a busy time for many, so why not spend the holiday on a tranquil beach?
Easter Brunch and Egg Hunts
When we visited, there was an Easter egg hunt, and we enjoyed a delicious Easter brunch at the Wind and Waves Market. My favorite thing on the menu here was the Blueberry Pancakes. These are Buttermilk pancakes studded with blueberries and covered with house-made blueberry syrup. They were so yummy. Trust me, you should try them.
Pro Tip: Go the extra mile and make the Easter trip extra special for your little ones by shopping for candy, eggs, baskets, and Easter Bunny-themed treats on Walmart.com and Amazon.com before your vacation. Even though Disney’s Vero Beach Resort will provide them after you purchase the items for your family, arrange for them to be delivered to Disney’s Vero Beach Resort for your stay. The Cast Members can deliver the eggs to your hotel room. Then, after the goodies are delivered, hide the eggs around your hotel room for the little ones to find.
Learn About Conservation
One of the things most admired about Disney’s Vero Beach Resort is its commitment to conservation.
The best part about this resort is that the beaches are excellent habitats for turtle nesting. When my family and I were on the beach, we spotted two different turtle nests. The kids loved it! And that was not even the best part. The best part was that we saw a baby turtle leave its nest. If you are lucky enough, you may see one. Nonetheless, as mentioned above, the resort does an excellent job of discussing and practicing conservation. So, if you want to learn about conservation, you are at the right place. Enjoy!
Enjoy the Beach
This Disney Resort Hotel is unique to all the others because beautiful blueish-green waters and sandy beaches can be found outside your hotel room door. So, what are you waiting for? Get your toes in the sand, look for seashells, get on a jet ski, and go sailing. The beach activity possibilities are endless. If you want to relax, beach chairs are also avalible for rent. No matter how you decide to spend time on the beach, it will be rejuvenating. Enjoy!
