Must-Do’s For Teens At EPCOT

Disney vacations aren’t just for families with small children! Disney World is a great vacation destination for those of all ages, but especially families with teens. EPCOT is a park that celebrates education, entertainment, and world cultures. Many teenagers consider EPCOT to be their favorite Disney park because of its thrilling attractions and intricate environments. If you and your teenagers have an upcoming visit to Disney World planned then be sure to check out these must-do’s for teens at EPCOT.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind

EPCOT’s newest thrill ride is Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Any roller coaster fan in your family will love this must-do attraction. Cosmic Rewind has a height requriement of 42 inches or taller. This unique coaster features a backwards launch, visual effects throughout, and a rotating ride vehicle. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is reaches a top speed of 60 miles per hour. During the attraction guests will spot their favorite Guardians of the Galaxy characters and catch references to the films and Marvel franchise throughout. This attraction is currently operating on a virtual queue system with openings twice per day at 7am and 1pm.

Mission: Space

Located in the World Discovery section of EPCOT, Mission: Space is an attraction that features two distinct ride experiences. Guests boarding the Orange Mission must be 44 inches or taller and ready for an intense ride experience, while guests boarding the Green Mission must be 40 inches or taller and can experience a more gentle ride. This attraction is a space shuttle simulator that takes guests to the planet Mars. Guests of Orange Mission will experience intense G-force as they ascend, while guests of Green Mission will experience a motion simulator attraction. Both experiences are thrilling in their own ways and perfect for families with older children or teens.

SeaBase

Did you know that EPCOT is home to one of the largest manmade ocean environments on the planet? SeaBase is EPCOT’s massive aquarium and is located at the exit of The Seas with Nemo and Friends attraction. SeaBase is home to several aquatic animals including manatees, dolphins, sting rays, ocean fish, and more. Teenagers will love exploring this aquarium, and adults will love the educational aspect that it brings to their vacation.

World Showcase

EPCOT is home to several sections including World Celebration, World Nature, and World Discovery. World Showcase is located in the rear of the park and is a collection of 11 different country pavilions, each with their own attractions, shopping, and dining. These country pavilions bring an authentic cultural experience to those exploring EPCOT. There is so much to see and do within World Showcase and guests can easily spend an entire park day enjoying this area. Teenagers love shopping and exploring each pavilion to the fullest and will have a blast experiencing EPCOT’s World Showcase.

Luminous The Symphony of Us

Another must-do experience for all families with teens and older children is EPCOT’s nightly fireworks spectacular. Luminous The Symphony of Us takes place over World Showcase lagoon and features incredible pyrotechnics and other special effects. This can’t miss show is the perfect way to end your evening at EPCOT.
