- Request A Higher Floor: If you’ve booked a savanna view room, requesting a higher floor can increase your ability to see farther into the savanna to spot animal.
- Request A Room Close To The Lobby: If you will be using Disney’s bus services, requesting a room closer to the lobby, where the bus stop is, could make a difference if someone in your party has mobility issues.
Aulani
- Request A Room Number Ending In An Even Number: For most villas on the resort, the rooms ending with an even numbers offer views of Aulani’s pool and the sea, while those with odd numbers overlook the convention center, the street, and the island.
- Request A Room Close To The Lobby: The Ewa Building is located next to Aulani’s lobby.
Bay Lake Tower
- Inside Or Outside The “Horseshoe”: If you’re booking a lake view room at Bay Lake Tower, resort building has the rough shape of a horseshoe. If you decide you want to be inside of the “horseshoe” shape you’ll want to request odd-numbered rooms. Outside the “horseshoe” shape will be even-numbered rooms. The outside positions can occasionally provide a fireworks view, whereas the inside offers some of the most stunning views of Bay Lake.
Boardwalk Villas
- Request A Room Overlooking Village Green: You can sometimes achieve a partial Boardwalk view if you ask for rooms overlooking Village Green (with pool/garden views).
- Request A Room Overlooking The Quiet Pool: For the most quiet rooms, request a room on the upper floors that offer views of the Quiet pool.
Grand Californian
- Request A Room With A Theme Park View: The theme park view rooms offered at Grand Californian can offer you expansive views of Disney’s California Adventure Theme Park. There are no distinct view types on the Grand Californian points charts, so it’s up to your request and a bit of luck!
Old Key West
- Request A Room Near Hospitality House: At a resort like Old Key West, most of the on-site amenities are concentrated near the Hospitality House. Many guests here will want to be close to the community hall, Olivia’s Cafe, the boat to Disney Springs or the Sandcastle pool.
Saratoga Springs

- Request A Room Near The Paddock: Many folks love being close by the Paddock Pool, which has a delightful play area for children, and is close by The Paddock Grill as well.
