Attraction Overview
TRON Lightcycle / Run is an exciting roller-coaster attraction located in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom, and is inspired by Disney’s classic movie Tron. Disney’s new TRON Lightcycle / Run attraction is modeled after Lightcycle Power Run which is located in Shanghai Disneyland.
Guests climb aboard a train of two-wheeled ride vehicles know as a Lightcycle, and will join Team Blue in a race against Team Orange. Guests will need to race through eight energy gates in order to win, all while being propelled at up to 60 mph at the attraction’s fastest point!
Get ready to experience a thrilling ride of twists and turns while strapped in your lightcycle! Along the way you’ll pass through familiar locations from the film, including tunnels of light, pathways above rivers of energy, and even a loop around the famous Recognizer. With its incredible visuals and immersive atmosphere, TRON Lightcycle / Run is sure to be a memorable part of your Magic Kingdom visit.

Queue Experience
Entering the attraction, you will pass under a huge canopy, known as the Upload Circuit that has the ability to illuminate during nighttime. As you enter the attraction, you are being digitally “loaded” into the attraction just as the characters in TRON are uploaded to software in the popular movie franchise. The queue experience emulates park guests being uploaded into what is referred to as “the grid”, which is a purely digital land in which much of the Tron movies take place.
