Disney’s Dreamers Academy
From April 4-7, 2024, Walt Disney World Resort will host the Disney’s Dreamers Academy. This transformative program invites 100 high school students to partake in a four-day mentoring experience. Participants will engage in workshops and activities designed to inspire them to dream big and explore diverse career paths. It’s an initiative that underscores Disney’s commitment to community support and youth empowerment.
New Journeys Coming to Star Tours – The Adventures Continue
Starting April 5, 2024, guests at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will embark on new interstellar adventures with Star Tours – The Adventures Continue. The attraction will introduce fresh storylines featuring characters and destinations from the expansive Star Wars universe. These updates promise to add even more excitement to this beloved 3D space flight experience.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
Set to open in the summer of 2024, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom Park will immerse guests in the enchanting world of “The Princess and the Frog.” This musical journey follows Princess Tiana and the jazz-loving alligator Louis as they prepare for a spectacular Mardi Gras celebration. It’s a vibrant addition that celebrates the spirit and culture of New Orleans.
Country Bear Musical Jamboree
Also debuting in the summer of 2024 is the revamped Country Bear Musical Jamboree at Magic Kingdom Park. This new show will blend classic Disney melodies with various country music styles, including bluegrass and Americana. Fans can expect a modern twist on this nostalgic favorite, complete with clever Easter eggs throughout the performance.
CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza
EPCOT’s transformation continues with the opening of CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza on June 10, 2024. These new spaces, located in the World Celebration neighborhood, will serve as hubs for festivals, exhibits, and entertainment. Adjacent to CommuniCore Hall, the Mickey & Friends greeting location will offer guests a chance to meet their favorite Disney characters.
Warrior Games
From June 21-30, 2024, the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World will host the Department of Defense Warrior Games. This inspiring event showcases the resilience and dedication of wounded, ill, and injured active duty and veteran U.S. military service members. Open to the public, it’s a unique opportunity to support these extraordinary heroes.
The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort
On July 1, The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort will welcome guests seeking a rustic yet comfortable outdoor experience. Nestled in the woodlands, these new accommodations combine the beauty of nature with the comforts of home, making for a memorable Disney Vacation Club getaway.
The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure
In fall 2024, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will premiere “The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure.” This reimagined production draws inspiration from the classic animated film, featuring stunning set pieces, innovative effects, and beloved songs.
