Once the clock hits midnight, you can no longer cancel or modify, if you do not scan in before 11:59 PM the day of your reservation your pass will get a penalty strike. You will be notified by the email associated with your Magic Key. If you miss 3 park reservations within a 90 day period you will be unable to make new reservations for 30 days.
