Disney’s Polynesian Resort has beautiful pathways that are perfect for early morning walks and late night strolls.

Experience the Culture of the Pacific Islands

Disney’s Polynesian Resort brings the culture of the Pacific Islands to life. From the architecture of the buildings, to the palm trees, and the decor of the rooms and lobby, the spirit of Aloha can be felt throughout the resort. Guests can participate in hula lessons on the lawn periodically throughout the day, and catch the ceremonial torch lighting each evening.

Watch the Electrical Water Pageant

One of Disney World’s oldest running shows and traditions is the Electrical Water Pageant which runs nightly on the Seven Seas Lagoon. This show features a parade on the water of several creatures and characters. Guests can catch a glimpse of this show along the shores of the lake.

Seven Seas Lagoon Water Activities

Another unique opportunity that Disney’s Polynesian Resort provides is boat rentals, fishing excursions, and other water activities on Seven Seas Lagoon. Guests can inquire about water activities at the front desk during their stay. There are plenty of opportunities for fun and adventure if you find yourself with a day off from the parks.

Take Advantage of the Monorail

Staying on the Monorail line offers a massive advantage to guests. Guests can board the Monorail and arrive at Magic Kingdom or EPCOT in just minutes. This is perfect for families with small children as guests don’t have to break down their strollers to board the Monorail. Using the Monorail to get from your resort to the parks gets you there quickly and efficiently, and guests can also explore some of the other resorts on the Monorail line at their leisure.

Enjoy Dining Experiences

There are several fantastic dining opportunities at Disney’s Polynesian Resort. Guests can have a sit-down meal at either Kona Cafe or Ohana restaurant, or enjoy a convenient quick-service meal at Captain Cook’s. Disney’s Polynesian Resort also serves Dole Whip at Pineapple Lanai, located near the main pool area.
