Many guests prefer spending their days at the parks from rope drop to close. With so many attractions, shows, and entertainment located throughout all 4 Disney parks it’s easy to spend an entire day exploring and having fun. But what if you don’t have an entire day to spend at the parks? If you’re going for a last-minute outing, or you find yourself park-hopping, you can still have a blast at the Disney parks. Magic Kingdom is still a park that can be enjoyed with only a half-day or less! If you have an upcoming visit to Magic Kingdom planned then here are some of our favorite things to enjoy on a time crunch.
Walk Main Street U.S.A.
One of the best things to do at Magic Kingdom is soak up the ambiance! Main Street U.S.A. is where you first enter the park and it’s full of that Disney spirit and magic. Taking in the sights and sounds of Main Street is a great way to really soak in any short amount of time you might have at the park. Main Street U.S.A. is also home to great shopping like the Emporium, Casey’s Corner for a snack, and the Castle Hub Grass for relaxing. We also love stopping to listen to the Casey’s Corner Pianist play Disney songs on the piano.

Catch Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire
Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire is a show that runs in front of Cinderella Castle periodically throughout the morning and afternoon. If you have limited time to spend in Magic Kingdom then this is a great way to see some of your favorite characters, hear your favorite songs, and really enjoy a magical time. The show runs for approximately 23 minutes which is the perfect amount of time to spend when you have a limited amount.

Prince Charming Regal Carousel
When you have a limited amount of time to spend in the parks then finding attractions with little to no wait is key! Prince Charming Regal Carousel is located in Fantasyland and typically has little to no wait. This attraction gives you picturesque views of Magic Kingdom’s castle and Fantasyland and is a great ride to experience during your short day.

“its a small world”
If you want to experience a ride that is quintessential to Magic Kingdom then “its a small world” is a great choice. This ride also typically has little to no wait and is a classic attraction that is an absolute must-do for the park!

Mad Tea Party
Another ride that is essential to the Magic Kingdom experience is Mad Tea Party. This attraction is a classic and the wait times typically aren’t too bad. You can’t say you’ve done Disney without a spin on the teacups!
