A favorite restaurant, The Mara, has extended hours in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. The Mara was originally reopened on a temporary basis last year that has been extended into a permanent opening.
When it originally reopened during the holidays last year, it offered to-go breakfast options. Now with its extended hours, The Mara will also be serving Dinner. The new open hours are now:
- Breakfast: 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM
- Dinner: 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Extending the quick-service restaurants hours was happily received by members who have enjoyed having an additional dining option at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. The Mara can be found in the Jambo House of this Disney Vacation Club Resort.
Disney encourages guests to utilize mobile ordering on the My Disney Experience App. It is also worth noting that the Animal Kingdom Lodge is currently only open to Disney Vacation Club Members at this time.
The menu at this time will be limited. Guests can still look forward to quick and delicious items such as
- Roasted half-chicken with roasted potatoes and sweet corn succotash
- Burgers
- Sandwiches
- Flatbreads
