The Best DVC Pool Bars Around Disney World

Trader Sam's

While staying at Walt Disney World, it’s always important to do all of the parks and experience each one. From the rides to the food, there’s so much to do each day on your trip. When planning a Disney World trip, picking your resort is a big part of the planning process as it’s nice to plan a resort day during your stay.

Taking a break from the parks and dedicating a day to the resort is just as fun as going to the parks because Disney World creates so many great themed resorts that have a ton of activities and amenities. Pools are an important factor in picking a resort because some of these pools have awesome pool bars with delicious food and great drinks.

Oasis Bar & Grill

Starting off at Disney’s Polynesian Resort, there are two main pool bars here, but the Oasis Bar & Grill at the Oasis Pool is the one to go to. The Oasis Pool is away from the main pool, which means more quiet and relaxation time.

There are more unique options here like the fish tacos and a fresh oasis salad with shrimp. The drinks are also delicious, one of the best options being a Frosty Pineapple, which is DOLE Whip with Captain Morgan.

Hurricane Hanna’s Waterside Bar and Grill

Located right next to one of the best Disney World pools, Hurricane Hanna’s is next to Stormalong Bay at the Beach Club. Its ambience already makes this convenient pool bar amazing as it looks out across Crescent Lake and the Boardwalk.

The most unique food option here is the Seafood Roll. It’s a mixture of shrimp, scallops and lobster. It has an overall refreshing taste and it’s a great option for when you’re looking for something new to get. There’s a variety of drink options to choose from, but the specialty cocktails Category Five and Storm Chaser go perfectly with Hurricane Hannas’s theme!

Bar Riva

Riviera Resort is one of the newer Disney Vacation Club resorts and it has some of the best ambience on property. This french-style resort has a spacious pool bar just next to the pool area and serves many delicious options called Bar Riva.

The Seasonal Arancini is a great starter for everyone to share. The rest of the appetizers are tasty if you’re wanting to snack and share by the pool. If you’re wanting an entree, the burger is an underrated one on Disney property! Bar Riva has a great selection of cocktails and a resort-specific Riviera Spiked Iced tea!

Gurgling Suitcase

Old Key West brings the Florida Keys right into Disney World. This DVC resort is the perfect place to relax and go to the pool. Gurgling Suitcase is next to the main pool at Old Key West and has such a cozy Key West vibe to it.

There are Key West favorites like Conch Fritters and Savory Hush Puppies from Olivia’s Cafe right next door. This pool bar mainly has appetizers, so know that it’s more of a quick bite to eat place! To go with the theme of Old Key West, you have to get the Turtle Krawl and Key West Freeze drinks, they’re delicious!
