Dining Overview
One of the newest dining locations on Disney property is Swirls on the Water, located in Disney Springs. This waterfront quick service dining spot offers guests a variety of Dole Whip flavors and specialty offerings. Guests will enjoy views of the lagoon, shopping locations, and Disney Vacation Club’s Saratoga Springs while enjoying a refreshing treat on a warm Florida day.
This dining location is perfect for those with large groups who are wanting variety with their dessert. Guests can choose from any of the swirl options or just one of the flavors, giving them a large amount of options. In addition, Swirls on the Water is extremely allergy friendly, since many snack options are gluten free, dairy free, nut free, and more. Be sure to speak with the Cast Members that are there and they will help you to create your perfect dessert if some adjustments need to be made, such as putting it in a cup instead of cone.
The location itself is also extremely convenient. Located on the bridge next to Goofy’s Candy Co., Swirls on the Water is near many different restaurants making it a good after meal stop. It is also very close to shopping such as the Lego Store or World of Disney so that guests at Disney Springs can take a refreshing snack break in the midst of their shopping day.
Although the menu for Swirls on the Water is the same as it was when first opening, it does give the impression of being a rotating one. On the menu where it lists their flavors it says “Today’s Soft-Serve Swirls”. So while there is currently three unique swirls to choose from, these flavors may change over time. In addition, the specialty offerings are most likely to change during special occasions as well, which is always a tasty surprise.
Overall, Swirls on the Water has truly outdone the Dole Whip game. This new dining location is definitely a must try on your day in Disney Springs.
