When visiting Walt Disney World, there is no shortage of places to buy souvenirs for yourself or your loved ones at home. Guests can find shops around every corner at all of the parks and at Disney Springs, a large retail center where you can find something for everyone. In addition, each Disney resort has its own themed gift shop that offer some unique items that you can’t find anywhere else on property! Browsing the shops at the Grand Floridian Resort before a dining reservation is how I came across Basin White. Located on the second floor close to the entrance to the monorail platform, guests will find bath and body products for mousketeers of all ages at this specialty shop.
The bright and inviting space of Basin White is the inspiration for anyone’s ideal bathroom featuring timeless black and white tile and plenty of light. Upon entering, you will notice the fresh, but not overpowering, scent or their products, while you try to decide what to explore first! Shop a large selection of bath bombs, including ones designed to honor your favorite Disney princess or character. From Ariel and Cinderella to Daisy Duck and Maleficent, these oversized bath bombs are also embossed with a picture of the character! Each one is themed to a color and scent representative of their personality like Ursula’s Bewitched Blackberry and Belle’s Enchanted Rose. Bath salts and shower bombs, while not all themed to Disney, are also available to purchase.
I was particularly drawn to the table of handmade soaps. Their bright colors and creative designs are too cute not to notice and smell too good to resist. They are reasonably priced at $5.99 per pound and make unique gifts for yourself or someone else. They also offer small bags of different varieties of the soaps, so that guests can try a few at a time. As if you didn’t have enough options already, at Basin White you will also find lip balm, body butter, and shampoo and conditioning bars that you rub right on your hair for extra nourishment.
Basin’s products are cruelty-free and never include contain parabens, alcohol, or mineral oils. What’s more is that they are made in the U.S.A.! Guests can also shop Basic products at their location in Disney Springs. Visit the Marketplace for unique souvenirs where you will find this small shop and more, like Bowes Candles, where you can purchase candles inspired by your favorite Disney scents.
If you become so enamored with what you find at Basin White, no one says you have to wait until you get home to enjoy your new finds!
