Exciting news alert! For all those Disney+ Hawkeye fans out there, “Rogers: The Musical” is coming to life at Disney’s California Adventure theme park, and an official opening date has been set. In the Disney+ series “Hawkeye,” we were treated to a Broadway musical theater sequence featuring the life of Steve Rogers, or better known as Captain America. It was such a hit that fans everywhere have been eagerly waiting for a live version of the fictional “Rogers: The Musical.” And now, we finally have a date!
This short one-act musical theater show will kick off at the Hyperion Theater in Disney California Adventure on June 30, 2023, and will only run for a limited time. The show will feature a talented cast of singers and dancers, and will recount the story of Steve Rogers’ journey from his beginnings as a soldier in World War II to becoming Captain America, leading the Avengers and beyond. Not only will we get to hear classic songs from the franchise, such as “Star Spangled Man,” but five new original songs have been written specifically for “Rogers: The Musical” at the Disneyland Resort. Plus, you won’t want to miss seeing guest appearances from Peggy Carter, Nick Fury, and some of the Avengers.
The action-packed, 30-minute show will run from Tuesday through Saturday most weeks, and promises to provide a memorable experience. Stay tuned to the DVC Shop blog for more information on show dates, times, and themed merchandise and food and beverage offerings as the opening day draws closer.
