Those of you who are planning trips to Disneyland may be wondering what rides you can expect to see at Disneyland’s reopening. Unlike Walt Disney World’s reopening, there will be limitations on the rides allowed to open at Disneyland which has left many on the edge of their seats wondering what to expect. Disney has announced some of the rides that guests will be able to enjoy at the April reopening.
Disney will be working within restrictions set by the State of California in regards to which rides can reopen. It was announced that theme parks will only be allowed to open rides that are primarily outdoors. There will be some exceptions made for attractions that are inside for a portion of the ride.
Rides That Disney Has Announced To Be Open
Some of the rides that Disney has announced include:
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
Peter Pan’s Flight
Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind
In a statement released by Disney they also noted that Haunted Mansion has received a new update and that guests will be able to experience it at the April reopening.
Outdoor Only Disneyland Attractions
Although Disney has not released a full list of attractions that will be available when it reopens, there are a few that will most likely make the list since they are outdoor only attractions. These include:
Dumbo the Flying Elephant
Mad Tea Party
Jessie’s Critter Carousel
Jungle Cruise
King Arthur Carrousel
Storybook Land Canal
Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree
There are more attractions that may be able to reopen since they are only indoors for short periods of time. It is unclear if Disney will release a list of rides before the reopening or if they will make it a surprise for guests.
