Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit is back in EPCOT for the Fall season! This adorable scavenger hunt is the perfect way for the whole family to spend time together in the park. Some of these pumpkins can be a little difficult to find, especially if you are hoping to find them quickly to move along to other attractions in the park. No need to worry, we have each pumpkin location for you right here!
How to Play
In order to enjoy the scavenger hunt guests will first need to purchase a map. The maps can be purchased at various locations and cost $9.99 plus tax. You can apply discounts to the map purchase to get a couple of dollars off the cost though!
The objective of Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit is that guests will have to search in 12 different areas in order to find 12 adorably painted pumpkins. Each pumpkin is modeled after a different character, and guests place the pumpkin character sticker on the corresponding location of the map. The stickers are located on the back of the map. Once you have your map you are ready to search!
It is worth noting that you do not have to complete your map at all in order to get your prize, but where’s the fun in that? Also, you do not need to complete the map in one day, you can come back another time if you wish to take your search slow.
Pumpkin Locations – SPOILERS
Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit is just one of the scavenger hunts going on in EPCOT right now. Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak is also ongoing, and to avoid any confusion Disney has put the pumpkins in a separate area of the park then the Remy statues. All of the pumpkins will be located in areas in the front of the park, with none in the World Showcase.
Creations Shop
The first stop on our list is Creations Shop. You’ll find this pumpkin on the ledge right near the sign under the overhang.
The Daisy Duck pumpkin is the one you’ll be looking for here. It is so adorable with the lilac color and pink bow and definitely stands out right on the corner.
The Seas with Nemo & Friends
This one was not too difficult to find, but it is such a cute addition to the scene surrounding The Seas with Nemo & Friends sign.
Dory is joining the scene, let’s just hope this perfectly painted pumpkin stays clear of the seagulls on the other side of the sign!
The Land Pavilion
You’ll find this pumpkin by looking at The Land building on the right hand side. This pumpkin is a little on the higher side but not completely at the top of the building.
Chip and Dale are one of Disney’s most iconic dynamic duos, and now you don’t have to eat at the Garden Grill Restaurant to catch a glimpse of them.
Journey Into Imagination with Figment
Right on top of the building at the entrance of Journey Into Imagination with Figment is another pumpkin. This one is located on the right hand side.
It is, of course, the purple dragon Figment himself. Who else would they put on top of this attraction?
Showcase Plaza
This one was a little harder to find, mostly because there is just more space to cover than the others. When you enter Showcase Plaza you will come up to the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival sign directly in front of the World Showcase Lagoon. You will want to look left in the grassy area to find your pumpkin.
The Joy pumpkin will be among the grass, bringing a little extra happiness to everyone who finds her.
Port of Entry
The Port of Entry pumpkin is another one that was a bit harder to find. Many could be seen looking around the outside of the building, but it is actually inside. Look up on top of the boxes near the ceiling to find it.
In Port of Entry you will find the Mickey Mouse pumpkin wearing the iconic red and yellow Mickey shorts.
Connections Café & Eatery
On the ledge of the Connections Cafe sign is our next pumpkin. It is located on the right side of the sign under the the overhang, directly across from Creations Shop (and the Daisy pumpkin).
It is Minnie Mouse wearing her red and white skirt and her bow is perched on right on top.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
To find the pumpkin at Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind you will want to face the Star Blaster ship at the front of the attraction. You will then look to the right in the grassy area behind the palm trees.
Here you will find the Groot pumpkin. It even has little sprouts on the top just like Groot has. It definitely embodies this unique creature!
Club Cool hosted by COCA-COLA
To find this pumpkin you will also be heading inside of the building. When you enter you will look up and to the left to spot it.
It makes perfect sense that Club Cool would be housing the Olaf pumpkin! He may love Summer, but he needs to stay cold, and what better place to stay cool than Club Cool? This pumpkin looks almost identical to the real snowman and is just as huggable!
Test Track presented by Chevrolet
This pumpkin was pretty easy to spot. Find the entrance to Test Track and look to the railings on the right hand side.
Pluto’s orange color pops out from all of the gray making it easy to spot!
Green Landing Family Play Zone
This one was probably the hardest of the pumpkins to find. Do you see it yet?
It is not actually located inside of the playground, but rather across the way. Make your way to the Green Landing Family Play Zone sign, turn around and look in between the two white poles on the ground.
Once you get closer to the fence they become much easier to see. WALL-E and Eve are snuggling up right across from the playground inspired by their story. They probably had to keep WALL-E away from all of the playground materials, otherwise he might try to compact them all.
The Odyssey Pavilion
There are two entrances into the Odyssey Pavilion building, which is currently serving some tasty wings by the way. You’ll want tot head to the entrance closest to the World Showcase and look on top, almost directly above the sign of the Brew-Wing food booth.
Here you’ll find a Goofy looking pumpkin. No, it’s not silly, but it definitely looks like everyone’s favorite silly character Goofy!
Price Redemption
Congratulations, you have found all of the pumpkins in EPCOT! Now that you have completed Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit, you will want to head into one of the redemption locations to pick up your prices. Not every store in the park has the prices, but you will be able to spot which ones do from the following signs at the entrances.
Here you will get to choose from one of three adorable prices. Little miniature trick or treat pumpkins modeled after three classic Disney characters!
You can choose from an orange Mickey Mouse, green Pluto, or yellow Minnie Mouse. They even have little handles on the top! They definitely won’t fit all your future Halloween candy, but will make the perfect table decor!
