Overview
Pizzafari is a quick service for the whole family in Discovery Island at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Centrally located between Pandora – The World of Avatar and The Tree of Life, it’s in a very convenient area. Pizzafari has an American – Italian menu and is an excellent location for guests in the park who don’t care for the more adventurous menus at other dining locatations throughout Animal Kingdom.
For lunch and dinner, you will find an array of many pizza choices, such as sausage, pepperoni, and even gluten-free pizza options. Pizza is not the only type of food on Pizzafari’s menu. There are other options like a chicken parmesan sandwich and salads. Pizzafari offers gluten-free options and egg, fish/ shellfish, milk, peanut/tree nut, and soy allergy-free entrees, so there’s something for almost every dietary need here.
One of the iconic things about Pizzafari is the different themed dining rooms. There are four other indoor-themed dining rooms with beautiful murals distinguishing each one. These rooms are categorized as The Upside Down Room, The Nocturnal Room, The Animals That Carry Their Homes Room, and The Camouflage Room. These room murals are designed to educate the guests who dine in them on the animal groups that they are categorized in.
