In 2016 I almost bought a direct contract from Disney, with some unforeseen circumstances, I’m glad I didn’t.
In the beginning of 2017…
I got that itch to own a DVC contract. I was always told to buy where you want to stay so I started checking contracts & found one that was perfect for me. The contract was for 175 points at Saratoga Springs. I made an offer & the seller countered with an offer. That started the ball rolling for me to own a DVC contract. I was in Disney World March 2017 & got the amazing news I passed right of first refusal.
Two months later I was a happy owner of a DVC contract. I booked my first stay for October of that year. I stayed at Saratoga with my mom in a deluxe studio. That trip was magical..the room at Saratoga was perfect. We stayed in the Paddock, which was in a perfect location… close to the pool & the hospitality house. Artist’s Palette is a nice place to get breakfast or a light bite. We attended Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party which was so much fun. In March of 2018 I stayed at Copper Creek in a deluxe studio. The room has recently been renovated and was very nice. My room was right near the pool & pretty close the the main entrance, also a short walk to the buses.
Since then I go to Disney World three or four times a year.
In 2018 I stayed at Old Key West for the first time and fell in love with that place. Old Key West has a very chill atmosphere & one of my favorite restaurants Olivia’s. In December of 2018 I stayed at Old Key West again, loving it more the second time. This time we attended Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, which was an absolute blast.
This past June I stayed at Animal Kingdom / Jambo House. Wow… what an amazing place. The decor of the resort & room was stunning. Boma is another one of my favorite restaurants, the breakfast buffet was delicious. The pool was awesome. The animals were so cool, I sat and watched them in the morning & evening. One of my goals is to stay at every DVC resort.

We love being dvc member… wouldn’t of changed it for the world. Our home is the polynesian and we’ve stayed there twice and animal kingdom lodge. Kadani village. Awesome we had Savannah room. Just got back a few months and cant wait to get back.
