The Monorail station at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has officially reopened! The construction on the Monorail station has just been one part of a larger refurbishment on the Polynesian Village Resort, which also updated its rooms to a Moana theme earlier this year for its reopening this past July. Now that the Monorail has reopened, there are even more reasons to love staying at this beautifully themed resort!
The Monorail has always been one of the most preferred methods of transportation to Magic Kingdom from Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. While the construction has been underway, guests would either catch one of the ferry boats into Magic Kingdom or walk over to the Ticket Transportation Center or Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort to board the Monorail.
Guests can now be seen entering the newly opened Monorail line at the Polynesian. The line is still a secure line and guests will be required to go through security screenings before hopping on board the Monorail.
This reopening is amazing news for those guests who enjoy staying at this Deluxe Resort, as the convenience of the Monorail can make the trip from resort to park much more seamless and enjoyable. Not to mention it is also very convenient for those guests staying at other Disney Vacation Club Resorts who like to hop over to the Polynesian Village Resort for delicious snacks and meals at one of their delicious dining locations such as Capt. Cooks or Ohana.
