Disney World’s Minnie Van Service is set to return on June 29th, 2022. Minnie Vans have been spotted recently around Disney World performing tests before the service’s return later this month. What Is The Minnie Van Service?
The Minnie Van service is a transportation service that will take guests from their resort to the theme parks and other locations on Disney property. This transportation service is a partnership between the popular ride-sharing company, Lyft, and Disney. You get all the convenience of hailing a normal ride-share, with all the flash and flair of a Disney-themed vehicle.
The Minnie Van vehicles are large, comfortable, and playfully themed with a design that is influenced by Minnie Mouse. Each vehicle can carry up to 6 passengers. Each vehicle is supplied with two child safety seats that Disney Cast Members can set up for you if needed.
The Minnie Van service is a great way to get around Disney World, and it’s returning just in time for the busy summer season.
What Locations Are Serviced by Minnie Vans?
The Minnie Van service is available at all four of Disney World’s theme parks, as well as Downtown Disney and Disney Springs.
Minnie Van Service is available at the following locations:
- Magic Kingdom Area
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom Area
- EPCOT Area
- Disney Springs Area
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Wide World of Sports Resort Area
Prior to Disney pressing pause on this transportation service, it was possible to take the Minnie Van service from the Orlando International Airport (MCO) into Disney World.

The cost of the Minnie Van transportation service is determined by the distance between the pick-up location and the desired destination inside Walt Disney World Resort.
Hours of Operation
Minnie Van service begins at 6:30 AM and runs until 12:30 AM the next day. Hours of operation are subject to change without notice, so be sure to check the Lyft app for up-to-date hours.
How The Minnie Van Service Works
The Minnie Van service works seamlessly with the Lyft app. To use this service, open the Lyft app on your phone when in select areas in Walt Disney World Resort.
To request a ride:
- Open the Lyft app, then select your Walt Disney World destination.
- Confirm the pick-up spot and destination. The Lyft app will then show you an estimated fare, and payment is made within the Lyft app.
- If Minnie Van service is not the default vehicle type displayed, simply tap “Select Minnie Van”; you may need to scroll through your vehicle options to find the Minnie Van service option.
- The program will show a map of the vehicle’s route with a distinctive car number to assist you in locating your Minnie Van.
