Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is a signature Disney Show at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. This holiday-themed parade features beloved Disney characters dressed in festive costumes, twinkling lights, floats that reflect the spirit of Christmas, and classic musical numbers. The parade takes place seasonally during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and can be seen each day throughout the month of December. Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade Route
The Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade route starts in Adventureland near Splash Mountain, then heads through the main walkway that leads into Liberty Square. From there, the parade heads into the central area of Magic Kingdom, making a half circle through the hub, heading down Main Street, then ending near Harmony Barber Shop.
Where’s The Best Place To View The Parade?
With such a long route, there are many places to enjoy the parade. Some of our favorites are camping out along Main Street, or getting a spot next to Liberty Square Market, but there are really no right or wrong answers. Just be sure to have a plan for another attraction or show somewhere near the parade route. That way you can position yourself nearby your next attraction or show and head there as soon as the parade passes.
