Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2024 Dates & Times

The festivities for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party are scheduled to commence on August 9th and will continue on select nights up to October 31st.

Each night of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party kicks off at the hour of 7:00 PM and runs until midnight.

Ticket holders will be granted special early access to Magic Kingdom Park, as soon as 4:00 PM on their ticket’s valid date. Make the most of your day by taking advantage of this opportunity – explore all the park has to offer and get ready for a night full of excitement!

With these date-exclusive event tickets, there is no need to purchase a separate day theme park ticket or make a Park Pass reservation.

Event Prices & Ticketing Information

Currently, ticket prices are expected to fall between $119 and $199, meaning a price hike of about $10 in the minimum ticket cost. Walt Disney World has yet to disclose specific pricing for each date of the 2024 celebration, but we’ll be sure to update this section once there are prices for each date.

It’s important for potential attendees to note that this event requires a separate ticket from regular park admission. Ticket prices are tiered based on the date of attendance, and early booking is advisable as the event is known for selling out quickly. Discounts will be available for Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members for select early dates, which in past years, has been a $10 discount.

When Are Tickets Available To Purchase For Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2024?

Starting May 8th, guest staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels or Shades of Green will be able to purchase tickets. Then on May 15th, everyone else can begin purchasing their tickets.

Regarding entertainment, the event features a major stage show set against the backdrop of Cinderella Castle, complemented by smaller performances and spontaneous events in Tomorrowland and Frontierland. A highlight is the parade, occurring twice each night, which remains a must-watch for us at every visit.

Returning entertainment includes the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade, and the enchantingly eerie fireworks show. Additionally, new for 2024, guests can look forward to the DescenDANCE Party and the debut of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure attraction, offering unique experiences tailored to the Halloween theme.

Typical Showtimes: 9:15 pm and 11:15 pm (earlier showtimes coming for 2024)

Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade will be back this year with some new surprises. The parade features Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, and all your favorite Disney Characters in their Halloween costumes. Be sure to keep an eye out for special guests!

Typical Showtimes: 8:35 pm and 10:45, with an additional 7:40 pm performance in October

The “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular” show will also be returning, with the Sanderson Sisters casting their wicked spell on the Magic Kingdom.

Bop along to thrilling tunes and become enthralled with enchanting entertainment throughout the night.

  • Boogie down at the Disney Junior Jam at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café—featuring some favorite friends from Disney Junior shows. It’s perfect for young partygoers!
  • NEW! Ascend to the dance floor at the DescenDANCE Party at Rockettower Plaza Stage—inspired by Descendants: The Rise of Red.
  • Head over to Frontierland where The Cadaver Dans Barbershop Quartet singing group will delight you with their “dead pan” humor.
  • Listen for sea shanties from Rusty Cut Glass—a spirited pirate band and their crew traveling throughout Adventureland.

Holiday-Overlay Attractions

Guests attending the event will have exclusive access to certain attractions within the Magic Kingdom, some of which will feature special Halloween overlays for the occasion. This year, Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, Space Mountain, and Mad Tea Party will offer a new Halloween twist on their normal theming.

Character Interactions and Photo Opportunities

More Villains sightings at MNSSHP 2024

A highlight for many, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party offers opportunities for meet-and-greets with beloved Disney characters donning their best Halloween costumes. Rare appearances by villains and other iconic characters in special themed attire provide unique photo ops not typically available during regular park hours.

This year’s party promises to bring even more villains and ghoulish foes throughout the park.

Additional Highlights: Trick or Treat Spots, Food, and Tips

Beyond the rides and character sightings, attendees can enjoy complimentary candy with Trick or Treat spots spread throughout the park. For those with dietary restrictions, allergy-friendly options are available.
