Hours At Disney World Are Extended For The First Week Of March

Everyone could use some extra time inside the most magical place on Earth, and it has just been confirmed that hours at Disney World are extended for the first week of March. All four of Disney’s Florida theme parks; Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios; will be open for an extra hour than previously announced for that first March week.

According to the Walt Disney World website, the hours will be extended as followed:

Magic Kingdom and Epcot will be closing an hour later than previously announced, while Animal Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be opening an hour earlier.

In addition to the extra hour, Animal Kingdom will be open from 8 AM until 6 PM on Saturday, March 6. This is an extra 2 hours than previously planned in this fantastic park. These hours should also allow those visiting the park on this day to be able to see The Tree of Life and Pandora after dark in all their luminescent beauty.

Why Disney decided to provide guests with these extended hours for the first week of March is a mystery. However, I think we can all agree that an extra hour inside of the Disney parks is always a welcome addition.

Are you going to be in the parks to enjoy these extra hours? Let us know in the comments below if you will be.
