Magic Kingdom Attractions To Ride During Fireworks

Disney World Fireworks

Magic Kingdom is a wonderful park that truly feels like magic from the moment you enter the gate. When you think of Disney World you probably envision Magic Kingdom in your mind with its iconic castle, lively Main Street USA, and incredible attractions. Magic Kingdom treats its guests to a nightly fireworks spectacular called Happily Ever After. Every night guests will gather around Cinderella Castle and line Main Street USA to view this incredible show in the sky. However, not all guests choose to flock to the fireworks during their visit. During Happily Ever After, the other attractions around Magic Kingdom remain open. Some might even have shorter lines thanks to the crowd gathering for the fireworks. If you’ve already seen Happily Ever After then be sure to check out these Magic Kingdom attractions to ride during the fireworks.

Tomorrowland Transit Authority People Mover

This attraction is located in Tomorrowland, and is a bit of a fan favorite. The Tomorrowland Transit Authority People Mover, or People Mover for short, is a tour of Tomorrowland from above. Guests travel through Tomorrowland at a brisk pace and see great views, people watch, and even get unique glimpses of attractions like Space Mountain. This attraction is perfect for relaxing and is made even better during the fireworks. During portions of this attraction you can see the fireworks go off over Cinderella Castle. You won’t get a full view of the show, but you’ll see parts of it from a unique perspective.

The Swiss Family Treehouse

Located in Adventureland, this attraction might not come to mind right away when you think of what to experience during the fireworks. The Swiss Family Treehouse is a walkthrough attraction in which guests climb a treehouse modeled after the one from the classic film “The Swiss Family Robinson”. You go at your own pace during this attraction, and once you reach the top you get a great view overlooking the castle and Tomorrowland. If you time it just right you can catch some of the fireworks show from this unique perspective.

Pirates of the Caribbean

If you don’t mind skipping the fireworks entirely then Pirates of the Caribbean in Adventureland is another great attraction to experience when the crowd thins out. This indoor boat ride through a pirate’s life tends to have long lines during the day. When the crowd begins to gather for the fireworks you have a great opportunity to ride it with a shorter line!

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

This family roller coaster located in Fantasyland is a great attraction to hit up during the fireworks. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is a roller coaster that is extremely popular with guests which means the line can become extreme! If you missed your opportunity for this roller coaster during the day then be sure to check back during fireworks to see if the line is short enough to ride.
