Disney World has made a name for itself as a popular holiday vacation destination. There are special holiday offerings throughout all 4 parks and Disney Springs. Many guests enjoy spending their holiday breaks from school at the parks and resorts, all of which are decorated to perfection for the season. Disney’s Hollywood Studios has several opportunities for holiday fun. Whether you are taking advantage of their special ticketed event, or just enjoying the park during normal hours, you are certain to find something that will spark festive joy for you and your family.
Disney Jollywood Nights
This special ticketed event takes place on select nights in November and December. Jollywood Nights runs from 7:30pm to 12:30am and features several exclusive events that you can’t experience with regular park admission. At Theater of the Stars, guests can catch a special holiday show starring the Muppets. This show runs periodically throughout the night and also has guest appearances by characters like Tiana and Minnie and Mickey.
Several areas throughout the park feature themed entertainment. Guests can enjoy a 90s throwback party near Echo Lake, a Holiday Street Fair in Animation Courtyard, a Pixar Disco at Pixar Place, and an incredible ice skating show on Hollywood Boulevard.
Various characters can be found throughout the park in holiday themed clothing, and there are special holiday photo opportunities as well. Guests can also shop for exclusive party merchandise, and enjoy special holiday treats that they can’t find during regular park hours.
Holiday Decorations Throughout
Hollywood Studios, like other Disney parks, is intricately decorated for the holidays. Guests can find several Christmas trees and other festive decorations throughout the parks. Toy Story Land has a holiday overlay, and your favorite Toy Story characters can be found wearing their best seasonal outfits. The holiday decorations at Hollywood Studios are a great way to take your family’s Christmas card photo, or just commemorate your holiday vacation.
Hollywood & Vine Holiday Dining
Hollywood & Vine is a character buffet that is located in Echo Lake. This restaurant offers various seasonal buffets and Christmas is no exception! Minnie and her friends are dressed in their Christmas outfits and holiday favorites like herbed chicken, beef tenderloin, seared salmon, spice rubbed pork loin, and mushroom risotto are offered. This buffet is only for lunch and dinner, as the typical non-holiday themed breakfast buffet with Disney Jr. characters is still offered during the morning hours. Don’t miss this special chance to see your favorite characters in their holiday garb, and enjoy a holiday meal with your family. Reservations for this experience fill up quickly so be sure to make your advance reservations as soon as you are able to.
